This program is designed to make athletes more ballistic, increase strength & power, improve broad & vertical jumps, and aid in injury prevention.

 

Athletes will train from 7-8pm at Thunderbird High School every Wednesday and Friday in the Strength and Conditioning gym. This is a progressive strength program and is the same style athletes will see throughout high school, college, and professional sports. Athletes will each have their own sheet to record progress and testing metrics.

 

All sessions will be lead by Coach Sammy Jo with a degree in Exercise Science with an applied focus on Sports Performance. 

 

Sammy Jo will provide snacks to athletes once track season with the Bobcats Club Team begins in September. Team practice is right before lifting from 5:30-6:45. This will give athletes 15 minutes to eat and be given instruction for the lifts.
